Pro Performance Training Ltd is a training company providing a variety of courses to health professionals.  Pro Performance Training Ltd is committed to protecting your privacy with technology to provide a safe online experience.  This Privacy Policy serves as notification to individuals of the matters required to be notified on collection of their personal information. We recognise the importance of your privacy, and that you have a right to control how your personal information is collected and used.  This Statement of Privacy explains how we use the personal data that you might provide in compliance with UK data protection law and the General Data Protection Regulation EU 2016/679 (GDPR).

 

This Privacy Policy applies to Pro Performance Training Ltd (Online) and its affiliates and related bodies corporate (we, us, our) in relation to their operations. It explains how we handle personal information and comply with the requirements of applicable privacy laws and other related laws regulating the handling of personal information, including without limitation the General Data Protection Regulation EU 2016/269 (“GDPR“) and applicable EU Member State laws (Privacy Laws). As a data controller, we process personal data about our customers, potential customers, business contacts, tutors, learning centre staff, our learners, third party service providers, consultants, legal advisors, our staff, and other business partner contacts.

  • We only process personal data where this is necessary for the purposes of fulfilling a service you have contracted to receive.

  • Establishing or negotiating agreements to providing the services you have requested.

  • Promoting our own goods and services.

  • Managing our accounts and records.

  • If required by law, including responding to law enforcement authorities and competent bodies to prevent or detect crime, fraud and money laundering.

 

3. What type of information do we collect?

 We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way.  We also collect personally identifiable information (including name, email, password, communications); payment details (including credit card information), comments, feedback.  In section 3, we explain the kinds of personal information which we usually collect and hold as well as how we collect this information. The kinds of personal information we will collect and hold about you will depend on the circumstances in which that information is collected. It may include:

 

(a) contact details which may include your name, address, email, affiliations, and phone details;

(b) information required for you to submit a request to become registered on one of our courses. This may include bank details or any other relevant information when paying for course charges.

(c) Information on your dealings with the Pro Performance Training Ltd including help, support and administration of any accounts you create to use our online software. 

(d) any additional information relating to you that you provide to us directly through the website or email correspondence from which you permit us to use.

(e) complete any payment transactions for goods and services you have purchased.

Our services are directed at business professionals. They are not intended for children under the age of sixteen. We do not knowingly collect personal information from users in this age group and reserve the right to delete such information if we become aware of having collected it.

4.1 When you submit an enquiry message on our website, as part of the process, we collect personal information you give us such as your name and email address. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated above in section 1 and the following only.

 

4.2 When you register with us:

If you register your interest in completing one of our courses with us, your personal information is used in connection with the dissemination of learning materials or promotional material. Personal information is also used to handle payments or for other purposes, as is necessary to perform the contract entered with us.

In addition, we sometimes take photos and videos at events associated with the course you are taking. Where photos and videos are taken at our training events, we may use those photos and videos for promotional purposes. You will be asked to provide written and verbal consent for us to do so.

 

4.3 Online membership communities and blog areas:

You may choose to participate in online membership communities on our sites that allow you to create and publish a profile and other personal information. These communities may provide privacy controls that allow choice in how much of your profile and other information to make public or to share with others within the community. Privacy controls are usually found on the page on which you edit your profile, and everyone is responsible for understanding how those controls work, including default settings, and choosing how the information provided is shared and protected. By participating in these online membership communities, you may be contacted by other participants using the information provided. When you disclose personal information on any public community boards or chat areas of this website, or any other website used as a result of use of this website, such personal information can be collected and used by anyone who views that board or area. This may result in unsolicited messages from other participants or other parties, which are outside of our control or responsibility. Where you engage with us as an enquiry chat, we will use any information provided to help support with the submission or enquiry of a research article or publication.

Any personal information provided on the Contact Us page will be used only to provide a response or to service the request or enquiry made. The information provided will not be added to the marketing or customer prospect databases of Informa’s operating divisions.

We collect email addresses from individuals who subscribe or submit an article for publication to us and request permission for those individuals to be contacted with marketing in the future​

5.1 Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. 

5.2 All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

 

5.3 Pro Performance Training Ltd does not sell, rent or lease its customer data / lists to any third parties.
